The number one of my " Heroes", the one I had to make!

Doing David Bowie... but which Bowie??
Not the obvious ones like the Aladdin Sane red flashed face or the Heroes cover.. The young Bowie, the older Bowie? I ended up with a protrait of 1987. And after all the reason became clear to me: of course it is the look in his eyes that grabbed me, but in 1987 I visited a Bowie concert for the first time: the Glass Spider Tour in De Kuip in Rotterdam. This is MY Bowie, the one I had to make!

While creating this artwork of rock icons I get extra inspired by playing their music. People often ask me how long it takes to create one, and to be honest I don't have a clue. Long! Haha!
A great indicator might be the number of Bowie songs I played online at Spotify during the past months: over 300! Not even counting all the offline songs played.
